Certified Nursing Assistant & Phlebotomist
After being in the service industry for years, I had a lingering feeling
that I was destined for something greater. I always allowed my shortcomings and fears to turn into excuses as to why I could not achieve my goals. Then I realized the only person standing between me and my goals was ME! One day I stopped making excuses and I just went for it. I joined Families Becoming Independent Program. It was the best decision I have ever made. Not only did I earn a great education as a C.N.A and a Phlebotomist but the team at Uinta B.O.C.E.S. #1 made it so enjoyable. They are so supportive and willing to help in any possible way they can. Between them and my amazing support system at home, I went ABOVE and BEYOND the expectations I had for myself. It was a journey I will soon not forget and one I am forever grateful for.”
