Learn CPR - Save A Life!

2020 American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers

This two component course is for healthcare professionals or for those preparing to enter the healthcare profession, and is designed to help students learn to:

  • recognize life threatening emergencies,
  • provide high quality CPR to victims of all ages,
  • Chain of Survival, specifically the BLS components
  • use an AED 
  • relieve an air-way obstruction using upward thrusts

Students will learn the concepts of both single rescuer and team dynamics for basic life support. Once the student completes the online portion they will need to schedule their skills performance.

**This is a Prerequisite for WWCC CNA class.** 

Students must complete their certification 10 business days prior to the class start date to ensure certification.

Student must take the online course, print certificate, and then schedule a skills performance for certification

2020 American Heart Association HeartSaver CPR Adult/Child/Infant and AED

American Heart Association created this class for anyone who needs to learn CPR, including corporate and retail employees, security, law enforcement, daycare professionals, or anyone else who needs a course completion card in CPR / AED. 

American Heart Association HeartSaver course is designed to prepare a wide variety of people who, as first responders may need to:

  • perform chest compressions and rescue breaths
  • Recognize when someone needs CPR whether it’s an adult, child or infant.
  • Chain of Survival
  • Use an AED 
  • relieve choking in a safe, timely, and effective manner

Must have 3 students for a course to be scheduled.  Student’s can take the course online and schedule a skills performance for certification.

Instructor Led Tuition:  $80

Skills Performance Evaluation:  $40

American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid

American Heart Association First Aid is dedicated to helping reduce the number of deaths due to emergency events for anyone with limited or no medical training. 

With this basic first aid course students will learn they can make a difference in the lives of others.  

During this course you will cover first aid basics;

  • medical emergencies,
  • injury emergencies
  • environmental emergencies.

This class is designed for Adult First Aid

Must have 3 students for a course to be scheduled.  Students can take the course online and must schedule a skills performance evaluation for certification.

AHSI CABS- American Health and Safety Institute’s Child and Babysitting Safety

Did you know that 8 out of 10 surveyed parents would prefer a trained babysitter?

Are you looking to become a babysitter for family, friends of the family, or your neighbors? Babysitting is about your safety and comfort level as well as the children you will be providing for.  

This course is designed to help you be prepared and focus on:

  • proper supervision,
  • basic caregiving skills,
  • responding to ill or injured children and infants in a babysitting setting,

Recommended ages is 12- 16.

Students who take this course will receive certification.

Minimum number of students 3 maximum is 10.

*This class does not certify students in First Aid or CPR.
