Evanston Civic Orchestra and Chorus (ECOC)
The Evanston Civic Orchestra and Chorus “Spreads Joy In The Community Through Music”. Membership for the performing group comes from Evanston and the surrounding area.
No Auditions! We invite all high-school-age youth and adults. A moderate degree of musical training or experience is preferred, but not required. The ECOC accepts younger students when they are musically able to perform the music, are socially mature, and are recommended by a teacher.
We welcome all instrumental and vocal parts. So, become a part of our performance groups. And let us make memorable music together!
The Evanston Civic Orchestra and Chorus presents at least one performance each in the Fall and/or Holiday Season and during the Spring.
Coming December 2022 – “Christmas Classics”! Featuring favorite holiday songs & carols. What a perfect way to kick off the school holiday break.
Orchestra & Chorus rehearsals will be held on Thursdays from 6-8 p.m. at Davis Middle School. Rehearsals will begin in September. And, of course, we always welcome new members!

Yearly Membership Dues:
$45 for adults (or $25 per session)
$35 for students (or $20 per session)
Dues are collected at registration, which opens in mid to late summer.
