Nationwide, after-school programs have proven to benefit students academically, behaviorally, and socially.  Based on results from the Wyoming Department of Education’s Annual Report (released November 2009), Uinta County students mirror these national statistics.

With respect to the UCSD #1 after-school programs, the findings indicate overall participant improvement and cite that students’ grades and proficiencies increased “substantially” in both mathematics and language arts.
