This class continues where the Introduction to Word class left off.   If you regularly use Word for word processing, but wonder what else you can do with this versatile software application, join us for a look at its other features. Students should have completed the Introduction to Word class or its equivalent.  Basic computer skills are required.

This class will cover the basics of beginners accounting.  It will cover how to handle simple transactions by identifying whether transactions are dealing with assets, liabilities, income, capital, or expenses.  Plus learning how to balance a general ledger.  Students will need to bring 2 mechanical or standard pencils with an eraser, a 13 columnar pad, college or wide ruled spiral notebook and a calculator.
