A brief update for the JumpStart program. First of all we want to thank you for your patience, we know this is inconvenient and confusing. It’s unfortunate that this happened at the end of the program but we will work through it and adapt to continue to meet our mission.
We are developing a plan as we speak and hope to provide more information in the following week. That being said, we will likely parallel UCSD #1’s facility closures as recommended by Governor Gordon.
Please review the previous six presentations to catch up on any material you may have missed. Dave Huggins plans to present his class on ‘growing your business’ as soon as he is able to! Its amazing to see such commitment from business owners in our community who are facing adversity and still finding ways to help others.
Our judging criteria will likely be altered to encourage as much participation as possible. Our judges have committed to the program and we will work with them to set a date for the presentations.
This has been an interesting and exciting first year but we are now more motivated than ever to provide a resource for entrepreneurs in our community. We are in this together!
