AARP Smart Driver

The AARP Smart Driver Course is the nation’s largest classroom and online driver safety course and is designed especially for drivers age 50 and older. By taking a driver safety course you'll learn the current rules of the road, defensive driving techniques and how to operate your vehicle more safely in today's increasingly challenging driving environment. You'll learn how you can manage and accommodate common age-related changes in vision, hearing and reaction time. In Wyoming you will be eligible to receive an insurance discount upon completing the course, consult your insurance agent for details.

Cost: $15 for AARP Members $20 for Nonmembers

Students pay the instructor at the class.

Drivers Education

Become a more confident and competent driver. Students receive 34.5 classroom hours, including 4.5 hours of “Alive at 25”; 6 hours behind the wheel supervised driving; and 6 hours driving observation time. Check with your personal insurance agent for insurance discounts. (Students must be between the ages of 15-19 and be enrolled in a secondary school program, and have a WY learners permit or driver’s license) Date range does not included driving/observation hours.

 

Cost: $275.00

Schedule:

Session 1: June 5 -June 20, 2017 8:30-11:30 am

Session 2: July 17 - August 1, 2017 8:30-11:30 am
