American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
 American Heart Association created this class for healthcare professionals and those preparing to enter the healthcare profession. This course is designed to help healthcare professionals learn to recognize life threatening emergencies, provide CPR to victims of all ages, use an AED and relieve choking in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Students will learn the concepts of both single rescuer and team basic life support. Must have 3 registered for class to go. 

This class is a Pre-requisite for WWCC CNA class.

American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR Adult/Child/Infant and AED
American Heart Association created this class for anyone who needs to learn CPR, including corporate and retail employees, security, law enforcement, daycare professionals, or anyone else who needs a course completion card in CPR / AED. American Heart Association Heartsaver is designed to prepare a wide variety of people who, as first responders may need to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation in the workplace or similar settings. This class will give you the information you need to give CPR in a safe, timely, and effective manner to an adult, child, or infant. It also provides information on using an AED for adults and children over 1 year of age.

American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid
American Heart Association First Aid is dedicated to helping reduce the number of deaths due to emergency events. With this basic first aid class students will learn they can make a difference in the lives of others. You might even save the life of someone you know. During this class you will cover first aid basics; medical emergencies, injury emergencies and environmental emergencies. This class is designed for Adult First Aid. Tuition is $50 per student, and includes a CD and student workbook

Medic First Aid Bloodborne Pathogens in the workplace – OSHA’s Bloodborne Pathogens standard is a federal OSHA regulation (29 CFR 1910.1030) that prescribes safeguards to protect workers against the health hazards from exposure to blood and other potentially infectious materials, and to reduce their risk from this exposure. This course teaches how bloodborne pathogens are spread, how to avoid exposure and what to do if exposed to infectious material. Who should take this course; cleaning staff, daycare providers, schools, health care providers, or anyone who has the potential of being exposed to blood or bodily fluids? Those who complete the training will receive a Bloodborne Pathogens Training certification valid for one year through Medic First Aid, minimum number of students 3 maximum is 12.

 AHSI CABS- American Health and Safety Institute’s Child and Babysitting Safety – Did you know that 8 out of 10 surveyed parents would prefer a trained baby sitter? Are you looking to become a baby sitter for family, friends of the family, or your neighbors? Start your babysitting on the right foot and learn how to be a safe, a professional, and a reliable sitter. This program is designed to focus on proper supervision, basic caregiving skills, and responding to ill or injured children and infants in a babysitting sitting. Recommended ages for this class is 12- 16, students who take this class will receive certification, minimum number of students 3 maximum is 10. This class does not certify students in First Aid or CPR.
